The Mississauga Furniture Bank

We are the only organization in Mississauga whose mission is to provide basic household furnishings to people who are trying to rebuild their lives in a home of their own.

By acting as a hub between donors and social agencies, the MFB (Mississauga Furniture Bank) is able to connect families in need with furnishings for their homes. Clients are referred to us by registered community shelters, faith-based organizations, and social agencies.

We donate to families in need, including …

• Women and children who have fled from abusive relationships
• Senior citizens who have a difficult time making ends meet
• Disaster victims who have lost everything from a personal tragedy
• Disabled citizens who are unable to work and live on a fixed income
• Refugees who have fled their country due to fear for their safety

An eco-friendly charity
