The Mississauga Furniture Bank recycles new and gently used household furnishings from individuals and corporate donors to our client base which includes women and children, refugees, the homeless, families living below the poverty line and victims of domestic violence. We also help the elderly, disabled and those who have lost all to fire, a natural disaster or personal tragedy.

These clients have been referred to us by registered community shelters, faith based organizations and social agencies.

By acting as a hub between donors and social agencies the MFB is able to connect families in need with furnishings for their homes, not only helping those in need but having a positive ecological impact as we divert furniture and home furnishings destined for local landfills.

We are a donation based agency so we depend heavily on our area neighbours to help with the needs of our clients.
